It is just the two of you, your witnesses, and your Life-Cycle Celebrant. This is a pre-scripted ceremony with a dash of personalization.
Sweet and Simple
A small wedding with a big heart. This ceremony includes up to 20 guests. Elements of your love story, your path to this precious moment, and a unity ritual can be included.
The Whole Shebang
You want a ceremony as big and exuberant as your love for one another. In this fully customized ceremony, I will create a ceremony that has your love story at its heart. Using your ideas and vision, I can recommend readings, music, and rituals to create a wedding ceremony that lifts every heart touched by the love you have for each other. I will be available to you as needed as we design the wedding that is just right for you. I will provide cue sheets as needed, and will be available to coordinate with your musicians, photographer, wedding planner and venue contact.

And: a word about choosing your venue. Especially in the South, many wedding were once sites owned by slavers. I encourage you to research your venue to ensure that you are getting married at a site that aligns with your core values. One more note about weddings: I am sorry to say that I am not able to officiate outdoor weddings in the high temperatures and humidity of summer in North Carolina and other southern states. I am available for outdoor weddings October to May, and indoor weddings at any time of the year.

Soul Talk Pre-Marital Conversations
I offer a process for Soul Talk Pre-Marital Conversations. While I am not a counselor, for many years, my husband and I led couples retreats in addition to working on our own decades-long relationship. Growing from the couples retreats, I have some key questions and a process for facilitating conversations about topics that are important for a solid relationship foundation. Depending on what is important to you, I also have materials you could use to deepen your conversation and to have fun together. I can facilitate your conversations and hold caring space for the two of you as you talk. For the pre-marital Soul Talk conversations, it is pay as you are able, typically between $40 and $100 per 60-90 minute session. The Soul Talk conversations are available whether or not you choose me as your officiant.
